Whoa!

image

I was out this past Saturday doing some shopping and almost had a heart attack when I pulled up to Boxwood Interiors.   Whoa!  Finally!  Farrow and Ball is here in Houston – miracles DO happen.

image For the past two months, Boxwood Interiors on Alabama at Dunlavy has been carrying the Farrow and Ball paints.   Isn’t this just a beautiful site???  The best thing about F&B (besides the quality of the paint) is that their colors are so perfectly edited.  There aren’t a billion to wade through.  I mean you either want Cooking Apple Green or you don’t.   Or maybe you like Fowler Pink.    Myself, I’m partial to French Gray of course.

imageBoxwood Interiors even has the cute little tester pots so you don’t have to buy the whole can.  Love this.

imageAnd, they even stock the wallpaper books.   Ever since David Sutherland dropped the F&B wallpaper line a few years ago, you had to call the F&B main office to get samples.  NO MORE!!  YEAH!!!!!

image I love Boxwood Interiors, sister store to Foxglove which is right down the street.

image

Boxwood even put F&B Lotus wallpaper throughout the store to celebrate their arrival.

They have a great (maybe the best in town) collection of lampshades.  And they even have this adorable gray wicker settee.

image They carry fabulous custom upholstered furniture with humongous nail heads (the best kind!)  And their pillows are tres cute.

image Rows and rows of ready made pillows make decorating just a little easier – especially when you are in a hurry.

imageWhat I really love about their pillows are their sizes – many are the 26 x 26 which is my new favorite pillow size!

imageBut, I did notice this sad sight– all the faux antique pillows with trims were hiding at the very back of the store.  Trend over?? Hallelujah!

I wanted to ask for it, but I refrained.   But I really, really wanted one of these cute bags.
